I don't know why, but I just like this photo. Maybe it reminds me of where I grew up, or maybe it is because of the thoughts of a solid rock formation for any business to be built upon. OR maybe it is just for the idea of although the Real Estate market is constantly changing this picture of the cliff and the trees around it are never changing just like our resolve to never change our values and stand firm and never falter.
So as for Utah Real Estate: it is picking up and getting busy. I heard my Broker say the other day that she is excited about the market. There are multiple offers on single family homes and that is exciting. Home prices are slowly increasing, first time home buyers are back in the market. Can you feel it. If you have thought about buying a first home or getting into a second home and moving up to more square footage, now is the time. Let's do some business together.

March Madness and I don't mean the Basketball gaming either

We are approaching the end of March and it definately is a maddening time for us in Real Estate. The bubble is getting weaker by the day and i am afraid come the end of April we will know what the Housing market will look like. Bleak I say, Bleak. From what I have seen and heard, the extension on the stimulus package for Real Estate was not really taken advantage of due to the lack of funds available to the first-time home buyer. Or rather their LACK of funds. The job market weakened, the health reform fiasco ran out of control and short sales and Foreclosures sky rocked through the roof. Whatever shall we do??? HANG OF FOR YOUR LIVES, WE ARE IN FOR THE RIDE OF A LIFE TIME.

What New Years Resolution have you made?

What New Years Resolution have you made? Over the past few days I have thought about the New Year and what i resolve to do to make my life better and more fulfilling. I hit me like a rock. Live Life fuller, Love more deeply, Laugh a little Louder. What does this have to do with New Years resolutions? A LOT. you see, if you live life fuller you understand that every moment has to be the best, less anger, less sour words and looks, you never know when you last breath will be. Worrying only gives you more lines on your face and grayer hairs. Loving more deeply is never missing a chance to say I love you, seeking for opportunities to help another, putting an arm around one in need and saying please and thank you more often. Showing gratitude everyday. Laughing instead of crying, smiling instead of frowning, and most importantly taking the time to enjoy the littlest things around you, smiling and thanking the almighty for everything you have.

What is happening in Salt Lake City Real Estate

href="file:///C:%5CDOCUME%7E1%5CRobert%5CLOCALS%7E1%5CTemp%5Cmsohtml1%5C01%5Cclip_filelist.xml">

What is happening in Salt Lake City Real Estate? I'll tell you what. We are experiencing a mind boggling change in the market. That’s what! Let me explain: as the For Sale by Owners wonder what is happening and why their homes aren't selling, the MLS listed homes are starting to sell quicker and the buyers are getting more Bang for their Buck as the Short Sale market is starting to show its tentacles in the Market Place. Is this a good thing? I would say so. Remember a few short years ago when the HUD market almost depleted? Properties were selling at almost 110% of value and more and we couldn't keep Homes and Properties on the market. Real Estate in Salt Lake City was at a boom and Realtors were flooding the market place like Ants at a picnic. We all knew things had to change and change they have. The HUD market has begun to replenish itself, the Salt Lake City Real Estate market is correcting and the New Realtor gets to really learn how to Work for his bread and not just the butter.
